Terms of service

1. Scope
These terms of service govern the use of the Flind platform (app and related web functions) between the operator of Flind (project in formation) and registered users.
2. Flind's services
Flind provides features for dating, event discovery, matching and chat, and organizer-side club/event management. The actual feature set may change for technical, legal, or product reasons.
3. Registration and user account
- Use requires a personal user account.
- Use is permitted only for adults (at least 18 years old).
- You must provide truthful and current information when registering.
- Login credentials must be kept confidential and protected from third-party access.
4. Permitted use / behavior
The following are prohibited in particular:
- unlawful, insulting, discriminatory, threatening, or misleading content,
- spam, harassment, deception, or identity misuse,
- circumvention of security mechanisms or abusive technical interference,
- commercial use without express permission, where not provided for.
In case of violations, Flind may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts temporarily or permanently.
5. User content, reports, and moderation
- Users are responsible for content they upload (e.g., images, texts, messages).
- You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to uploaded content.
- Flind may remove or restrict content in case of legal violations, security risks, or breaches of the community guidelines.
- Reporting and blocking features are part of the safety design; abuse may be sanctioned.
6. Organizer accounts and event content
Organizers are responsible for the lawfulness and accuracy of their club/event entries, media, and external links. Flind may restrict or remove content in case of legal violations, abuse, or safety risks.
Flind is not the organizer of listed events. Flind only provides the platform for displaying, managing, and discovering events.
7. Premium / paid features
Where paid features are offered, prices, durations, and billing terms are shown separately before the contract is concluded. Billing may be handled via Apple App Store or Google Play.
8. Availability and changes
Flind aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, security measures, or technical issues may temporarily restrict use.
9. Liability
Flind has unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. For slightly negligent breaches of material contractual obligations, liability is limited to the contract-typical foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
10. Term, termination, and account deletion
The user agreement runs for an indefinite period and can be ended by you at any time by deleting your account. Flind may terminate the agreement for cause, in particular for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
11. Privacy

12. Changes to these terms
Flind may change these terms with effect for the future where there is a reasonable basis (e.g., legal changes, technical evolution, new features). You will be informed of material changes in a suitable form.
13. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, except where mandatory consumer protection provisions stand against it.
